Commitment to Diversity EDGE is committed to the utilization of minority, women, disabled veteran, and small businesses. By including qualified diverse partners and suppliers, we continue to sharpen our own competitive advantage – providing our customers with cost effective innovative solutions and services. These mutually beneficial relationships contribute toward the economic success of EDGE, our consultants, our clients, and our diverse team of suppliers and partners. We will continue to lead the effort in recognizing the economic importance of utilizing diverse suppliers in the communities where we work and live. EDGE has adopted a partnering mentality with our suppliers and partners with those that will agree with our mission, core values, philosophy, and overall objectives for quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. Where appropriate, EDGE will offer support to assist our suppliers and partners in method improvement and cost reduction. Additionally, EDGE requires all subcontractors to comply with its standards for supplier excellence by requiring client contract flow-downs and acceptance of service level agreements. Supplier and Partner Selection A partnering mentality in conjunction with known past performance, functional experience, cost compliancy, and minority / small business considerations is utilized in selecting our suppliers and partners, as we continuously review new relationships and multiple sources for niche skill sets, service offerings, solutions, and price competition. Always in the pursuit of opportunity, EDGE will evaluate business opportunities for qualification with certified, qualified and capable minority/women-owned businesses as potential suppliers and partners. EDGE will assure that known minority and women-owned business enterprises will have equitable opportunity to compete for procurement and subcontracts, and are typically pursued for the following opportunities and reasons: · Recommendation for diversity by EDGE management. · The supplier or partner is required by EDGE client. · Client contract requirements necessitate supplier or partner involvement for compliance for designated spend ratios. · Supplier or Partner offers a niche service or solution that is beneficial to our client for need resolution. · EDGE is unable to provide candidates for open job orders within an agreed-upon response time As the primary supplier with our client, EDGE will process all candidate resume submittals, new hires, time cards, pay checks and invoices for any supplier, partner, subcontractor, or M/WBE organization we contract with. All consultants supplied to EDGE by these suppliers and partners will be employees of such, and EDGE will ensure that all federal, state, and client contractual requirements are being met through flow-down sub-contracting agreements. Our Quality Guarantee, Quality Assurance, and Consultant Care Programs, all remain intact whether the consultant is our employee or our Supplier/Partners employee. Furthermore, all Subcontract and M/WBE suppliers will adhere to the same terms, conditions, pricing, and quality procedures established for EDGE Professional Services and its assigned employees. EDGE is committed to diversity partnership with a variety of proven suppliers, as we realize that our most precious asset is the people we connect with, service and support; our candidates, colleagues, consultants, and clients. All People. For People. By People.
